THE JULIA-STYLE FORMULA

Your personal formula for a wardrobe that looks like you, feels like you, and supports the woman you are today.

Style isn't about following every trend, dressing for your age, or owning more clothes.

It’s about understanding YOU.

Your coloring.
Your body.
Your personality.
Your lifestyle.
And most importantly - the way you want to feel when you walk into a room.

That’s why I created the JULIA Style Formula.

Because when all five pieces come together, getting dressed stops feeling like a daily guessing game. It becomes joyful again.

J — JOY

How do you want to FEEL in your clothes?

This is where we start.

Before we talk about body shape, colors, trends, or what you “should” be wearing, I want to know:

Does your wardrobe bring you JOY?

When you look in the mirror, your outfit should make you stand a little taller. It should make your eyes light up. It should feel like you. If something feels wrong every time you put it on, listen to that feeling.

There are no style police here, not me or someone else!

Simply ask yourself:

  • Which outfits instantly make me feel amazing?

  • Which pieces do I reach for again and again?

  • What makes me smile when I look in the mirror?

  • Which clothes make me feel confident, sexy, sophisticated, powerful—or simply happy?

  • What am I wearing because I genuinely love it versus because I think I’m “supposed” to?

Your Style Formula:
I want my clothes to make me feel ______________________________.

U — UNIQUENESS

What makes your style unmistakably YOU?

You don't need to look like everyone else. Actually, please don't - this always reminds me on the Dr. Seuss story, The Sneetches. First everyone wanted a star on their bellies, then no one and in the end they accepted how they truly look.

Your wardrobe should reflect your personality and not an influencer's closet, a Pinterest board, or whatever happens to be trending this season.

Maybe you're elegant and romantic.

Maybe you're dramatic and creative.

Maybe you love clean, classic simplicity.

Maybe you want feathers, leopard print, fabulous jewelry, and a killer blazer.

There is no right answer.

Be uniquely you.

Ask yourself:

  • What three words describe my ideal style?

  • Which colors, prints, textures, or accessories feel like me?

  • What do people compliment me on?

  • What would I wear if I stopped worrying about what other people thought?

  • Is there something I've always loved but have been afraid to wear?

My 3 Style Words:

My Signature Element: ______________________________________

L — LIFESTYLE

Does your wardrobe actually work for the life you're living?

This is where many closets go wrong.

You may have beautiful clothes, but are they clothes for your actual life?

Your wardrobe needs to support where you go, what you do, how your body has changed, and the woman you are TODAY.

Not the woman you were 10 years ago.

Not the woman you think you should be.

And definitely not the fantasy woman who apparently attends five cocktail parties a week.

Look at your real week.

Where are you spending your time?

Work: ______ %

Home: ______ %

Social/Date Nights: ______ %

Events: ______ %

Travel: ______ %

Other: ______ %

Now look at your closet.

Do those percentages match?

Your wardrobe should make getting dressed for your real life easier—not harder.

I — IMPACT

What do you want your clothes to SAY before you say a word?

Clothing communicates.

Color communicates.

Fit communicates.

Your accessories communicate.

Your style can help you walk into a room feeling visible, confident, powerful, approachable, creative, sophisticated—or whatever you want to communicate.

This is where we bring in the tools that can completely change an outfit:

Your best colors.
Your proportions.
The right silhouettes.
Print and scale.
Texture.
Accessories.
Shoes.
The unexpected element that takes an outfit from MEH to WOW.

Ask yourself:

When I enter a room, I want people to see me as: ______________________________

And most importantly:

I want to feel ______________________________

A — ALIGNMENT

Does the woman in the mirror match the woman you are becoming?

This is where everything comes together.

Your wardrobe should align with:

Your coloring + Your body + Your personality + Your lifestyle + Your goals.

Sometimes our closet is still dressing an old version of ourselves.

Maybe your body changed.

Maybe your career changed.

Maybe you became a mother.

Maybe you went through divorce, illness, menopause, weight changes, or another major life transition.

Maybe nothing dramatic happened at all and you simply changed.

But your wardrobe didn't change with you.

That doesn't mean you need to become someone else. It means your style gets to evolve with you.

Finish this sentence:

The woman I am becoming is...

______________________________.

And when she gets dressed, she wears:

______________________________.
